Information Gathering And Usage
When you register for shopVOX, we ask for information such as your name, company name, email address, billing address, and credit card information.
shopVOX uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, and research.
Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a website’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Cookies are required to use the shopVOX service.
We use cookies to record current session information, but do not use permanent cookies. You are required to log in to your shopVOX Project Site after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.
Data storage
shopVOX uses third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run shopVOX. Although shopVOX owns the code, databases, and all rights to the shopVOX application, you retain all rights to your data.
Disclosure
shopVOX may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, to comply with subpoenas, or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.
Google API Privacy Policy
shopVOX use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What information do we collect:
If you are using our @Mail add-on to link your google email account with shopVOX, we fetch the email headers and read the FROM address on the emails to map them to contacts email so that we can track the email conversations/threads.
How do you use the information:
We do not store your email on our servers. We just fetch the headers. We only store the email as notes when you attach the email conversation as a "note" within shopVOX on customer profile or transaction.
What information do you share:
We do not share any information with third parties.

shopVOX complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. shopVOX has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and from the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) in reliance on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. shopVOX has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the DPF, shopVOX is subject to the regulatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
Pursuant to the DPF Principles, EU individuals have the right to obtain our confirmation of whether we maintain personal information relating to you in the United States. Upon request, we will provide you with access to the personal information that we hold about you. You may also correct, amend, or delete the personal information we hold about you. An individual who seeks access or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data transferred to the United States under DPF should direct their query to privacy@shopvox.com. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We will provide an individual opt-out choice or opt-in for sensitive data before we share your data with third parties other than our agents or before we use it for a purpose other than which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized. To request to limit the use and disclosure of your personal information, please submit a written request to privacy@shopvox.com.
In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
shopVOX’s accountability for personal data that it receives in the United States under the DPF principles and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the DPF Principles. In particular, shopVOX remains responsible and liable under the DPF Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles unless shopVOX proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
In compliance with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF),shopVOX commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information transferred to the U.S. pursuant to the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF. shopVOX has further committed to refer unresolved DPF Principles-related complaints to a U.S.-based independent dispute resolution mechanism, DATA PRIVACY FRAMEWORK SERVICES, operated in the United States by BBB NATIONAL PROGRAMS. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint, or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed, please visit www.bbbprograms.org/dpf-complaints for more information and to file a complaint. This service is provided free of charge to you.

Changes
shopVOX may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in how we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your shopVOX primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
